Whether you need a ride to school, work, aftercare, medical appointments, community activities, or errands we’re here to get you there safely, on time, and with heart.
Short Ride Transportation LLC is committed to providing safe, dependable, and compassionate transportation for individuals of all ages. We proudly serve children, seniors, foster youth, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including those who have transitioned out of foster care and now fund their own transportation. We also support busy families and caregivers by offering reliable pick-up and drop-off services that fit their daily routines.

Short Ride Transportation provides dependable, caring transportation and support services across Prince George’s County and nearby areas in Maryland.
School Transportation (AM/PM): Reliable daily rides for students.
Before & Aftercare Pickup: Flexible afternoon and seasonal scheduling.
Foster Care Transportation: Safe, scheduled rides to school, programs, or visits.
Disability Support Rides (SDS Eligible): Non-medical transport for ambulatory individuals in programs or the community.
Self-Directed Services (SDS): Administrative help and transportation coordination for families managing care through Maryland’s SDS program.
Youth Transition Support: Rides for young adults aging out of foster care (private-pay)
Senior Community Rides: Local trips to stores, appointments, and activities.
Service Area: We currently operate in Prince George’s County and nearby areas in Maryland. We do not provide transportation in Washington, D.C. or Virginia.
